Best Flat Iron I have ever purchased!
I purchased this flat iron at a beauty supply store for nearly twice as much as shown here. Although its definitely worth the money, I wish I had bought it here! This is definitely the best flat iron I have ever owned. I have very thick, naturally wavy hair that is prone to frizz. This iron heats up to 450 degrees and makes my hair super-sleek and shiny. The sleek look lasts a long time, even through humidity! It is even good for curling hair, with the right technique. I love that this iron is such a slim design, and that the plates are a little bit longer length, allowing me to work with larger sections of hair at a time. The swiveling cord is also a plus and the cord is super-long so you can move around freely. Awesome all around!
Excellect Flat Iron
My personal experience: I had a Chi flat iron for 7 years before one morning it wouldn't turn on at all. So, it was time to research and find a new flat iron, since I've heard that Chi's are no longer made like they used to be. After reading many, many reviews on Amazon, I narrowed it down to this one and another one that had hundreds of positive, 5 star reviews. My final decision was based on the tremendous number of 5 star reviews the other iron had. After two weeks of malfunctioning irons (seller sent me an additional one because the first was faulty), I returned them and bought this one. I wish I had done that in the first place.
Pros:
- Excellent heat even at lower heat settings
- It straightens and curls easily
- Incredibly light weight
- Longer plates than other irons available
- Extra long cord
Cons:
- Plates don't extend all the way to tip which occasionally "catches" my hair if I don't place the hair towards the inside...

I bought this same exact product at a store at the mall, and I paid the full $200 plus tax for this in california! I am hitting myself on the head now, holy crap! with this product for around $50? anyone who needs a flat iron will be foolish to pass this one up. I never need to turn my flat iron up to 450 degree, but it's there if I need it. The main thing with straightening hair with a flat iron is, you want it super hot, so you'll just slide this on your hair once, and be done with it. It doesn't fry your hair compared to other flat irons that you have to run through the same patch of your hair over and over just to straighten it. I highly recommend this product.
