Cute and well-made
I got this brush as a travel brush to apply mineral powder foundation with. Of course I was mainly attracted to the cute and unusual design but am happy to report that the brush itself performed great as well. It is very soft and I had no shedding, and even after recently cleaning it with brush cleaner and water I did not observe any loose hairs.
The only thing that happened was a slight permanent discoloration from the powder foundation - the white parts of the design are now a very light beige but this does not bother me. Having tried various Kabuki style brushes (from Elf - nice at first then increasingly rougher, Sonia Kashuk - one of the few brushes from Kashuk that disappointed me, and Tarte - nice at first, then shedding more and more, and others), I am very happy with this one - both performance and design-wise. Actually bought two more to use in the future.
pretty and functional
I wanted this brush as soon as I saw it. Such an adorable design. I would've bought it even if it was hard and starchy, because I just love to look at it. BUT, it's soft and effective. I use it to put on an all-over face powder that's mostly translucent because I don't want to discolor the bristles. I haven't washed it yet, so I don't know how it will hold up in color. It's small enough to use as a bronzer/blush brush, but the bristles fan wide enough to use all over the face. Basically, as females, we love pretty things and this one is pretty and functional. I have nothing negative to say, and trust me that's rare.
Little smaller than expected
It is a great bruch but was a little smaller than I expected. Still does the job, great for use with bronzers
