Heirloom Brush to Last a Lifetime

This is a review for a "handy" or medium sized Mason Pearson brush made of six rings of mixed boar bristle and nylon. The longer bristles are nylon and the shorter ones are boar bristle. It is a beautiful heirloom brush worth every penny of the incredibly high price.
All of the larger Mason Pearson brushes, including this one, come with a cleaning brush, so that you can easily clean loose hairs out of your brush.
There are two things you should know when you're ready to buy a Mason Pearson brush of any sort. One is the size: full-size (the largest size), handy (medium sized), or pocket (the smallest size). This is important not so much because of where the brush will be kept (say, in your handbag), but because of the bristle length of the various sizes. The smaller sizes have shorter bristles. these are the very best hair brushes available. You will have this hair brush for a lifetime..It may seem absurd to spend so much money on a brush, but once you use a Mason Pearson brush, you will never want to brush your hair with anything else.
SO worth the price
This is simply the best brush in the universe. Just pass it through your hair and you will never be satisfied with another brush. I bought the large size "Popular" BN1 in 1973 when I was a 22-year-old hippie with hair halfway down my back. Thirty-seven years later, the brush needs to be replaced! Now that I have short hair (what's left of it), I'm sure this handy size BN3 will do, and I'm confident it will last me the rest of my life. Whatever size you get, I advise purchasing one that has the boar bristle and nylon tufts mixture. Those are the ones that get the five-star reviews. Add those bristles to the standard Mason Pearson pneumatic cushion and you have the perfect brush.
