Excellent but still looking for EXTRA fine. . .
I love how thin this file is. You can easily smooth the edges of very short nails. Would be nice if Diamancel made and extra fine.

this is the best file for anyone who is a little OCD about having their nails be absolutely perfect. No rough edges like with a standard emery board - every edge is super smooth. They seem to last forever, as well. I had a cat chew on my first one - the back coating got a little dinged up but the file is still as good as new. I just used this as an excuse to buy a new one so that I could keep the first one in my purse now. Now I never have to use a regular old emery board. They make the best nail products, hands down.

diamancel file and ordered a replacement after looking for it unsuccessfully for a week. anyone who scoffs at paying $25 for a nail file has not used a diamancel. if there is a comparable substitute I haven't heard of it. if you are considering buying one - go ahead and add it to your cart now - you won't regret it.
