Best Flat Iron for Short to Medium Hairstyles!
I was so relieved to come across this curved iron from J2, on Amazon! The previous one, that was very similar to this, quit working and I searched everywhere to find a replacement. Conair stopped making the model with curved plates. I can style my hair damp or dry (there are two settings for this) and my hair turns out perfect and shiny every time! I had nearly waist long hair during the time I owned the previous model and I loved the style of this flat iron, but now that I have cut my hair to an above the shoulder style, this curling iron is even more perfect!! I'm almost considering buying another one so I never have to panic again or worry about using a flat flat iron tool that I just can't get comfortable with.
Poor design
Very disappointed. I prefer a curved flat iron, and was excited to find one for such a good price, since the flat (non-curved) style of irons are what is mostly available. However, the curve is too drastic and makes handling awkward for straightening hair, but not shaped or designed right to add waves to your hair. Also, my hair would get caught in the seams where the metal meets the plastic. My hair is almost waist length, wavy and medium thickness.
Quit working after two weeks.
The company was fast at getting this to me, but it quit working after two weeks. I thought I could not return it since I did not have the packaging anymore. Two weeks later I got on amazon and found that I could. They immediately emailed me a return label (free shipping) and two days later I had the full refund. Amazon...you rock!!!
