NOT impressed!
I just got this as a gift through my Amazon Wishlist. I chose this brand because we have another Andis straightener (http://www.amazon.com/Andis-67180-Ceramic-Multi-Temperature/dp/B001UE7D28/ref=sr_1_cc_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1325155345&sr=1-2-catcorr) and it works great, but my daughters use it upstairs and I wanted one for myself downstairs.
I've used the Aero three times now, and each time it left my hair (my bangs) pointing out at this odd angle. I thought maybe the heat was too high, so I tried it at different levels (20 down to 15 down to 10) but if I go below 15, it is not hot enough to do anything. I thought it might be my technique (it is a different shape than the other Andis we have) so I tried different techniques (it says to use it only on dry hair, but I tried it on wet, damp, and dry), but I got the same exact result.
It makes my hair look like it's fried, and no matter what I do I can't get rid of the little "curl" at the ends (I put quotes...
Very good for edges.
I agree with previous review. It do not add smooth texture to hair. but is good for edges and a good circluar curl. If you want good curls with a flat iron, then buy this one.
Waste of Money
Gets pretty hot, but does not glide down hair smoothly at all. Leaves hair looking like straw. I bought a flat iron from cortex international at Marshalls for $30 that works soooo much better.
