Good alternative hair product
I'm a guy who doesn't spend much time on his hair. I towel dry it out of the shower, slap some product in my hands, and run my fingers through my hair. This product hits the spot. Unlike gel, it does not leave my hair feeling rigid. Moreover, it does not leave my hair at all greasy like some other products. In parting, I personally get my hair cut short and then let it grow a long time so it goes through a spectrum of lengths. Before using this product, I would start with pomade for short hair, move to gel, and then texture creme. In comparison, this product works across a great range of hair lengths.

Loving my curls
My mom gave me her half-empty jar of Aveda defining whip, because she didn't use it very often. She has shoulder length, straight hair, while I have very thick, curly hair that goes to about mid-back. I did not think that this would do ANYTHING for me. However, one day I ran out of my regular product - TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Amplifier - and I was desperate, so I put quite a bit of this product into my just-showered hair. I promise, this product has done things for my hair that no curling product has EVER managed to do. My curls have never been so thick, bouncy, glossy, and gorgeous, and I have never had such a consistent amount of GREAT hair days!
I find that this product works best if I shower at night, then run it through my damp hair from bottom to top, and then sleep on it.
