best straightener i've ever owned
i've been looking for a straightener for a very long time that was of good quality and would not damage my hair. this is it! and you cannot beat the price on here. i was thrilled with the huge savings. i have medium-thick, but fine hair, and it's very hard to straighten. the only ones that would do it were at the salon. now i have one at home! i also LOVE the U style feature. FINALLY i can get spirals, candlestick, or regular curls with the flip of a wrist! and they stay all day! love this product, highly recommend!
Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium U Style 1" Flat Iron
Although I do not personally own this product, I have personally experienced its results. My hair stylist used the breast cancer edition of this item on my hair two weeks ago. I hate hairdryers, and refuse to undergo roller sets. I am an African American female with hair midway down my back. Yes, it pretty long and thick, not coarse but thick. My mother loves my hair curled. I don't care for roller sets because they are just too tight and I like the immediate body and bounce from a flat iron curl. Well my stylist used the Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium U Style 1" Flat Iron as I said two weeks ago; she raved about how the iron was made to curl and it did. The curls were really tight and spiral. I didn't wrap, roll or cover my head at night and the curls remained for two weeks. Mind you, they were not as tight as when they were first created, but they remained just giving the hair body and bounce. Personally, I thought the curls were a little too tight but everyone else loved them...
BUYER BEWARE!!! COUNTERFEIT ALERT!!!
We bought this item directly from Amazon. We received it and it looked and worked great. My wife noticed that it often shut itself off while she was using it. We missed Amazon's return deadline, so we returned it back to the manufacturer. A couple of weeks later, we received a letter from the manufacturer stating that the product was counterfeit.
Amazon, to their credit has offered to give us a full refund. Babyliss recommends using only authorized dealers, of which at the time of writing this review, Amazon is not.
